NATUROPATHIC MODALITIES
CLINICAL NUTRITION
"Eat food, not too much, mostly plants" ~ Michael Pollen
A well balanced, nutrient-rich diet creates and maintains a healthy gut flora that not only promotes normal gastrointestinal function, but also regulates metabolism, supports brain function, modulates inflammation and protects us from infection and auto-immunity, given that the gut comprises more than 75% of our immune system. I work with each of my patients to incorporate a practical and healthy nutritional regimen that suits their unique health history, nutritional needs, and personal goals.
BOTANICAL MEDICINE
Medicinal herbs contain a variety of powerful ingredients that can treat and prevent disease, while improving the quality of life. The use of herbal remedies in my practice is based on traditional knowledge and use combined with continually advanced scientific research and testing for toxicity, potency, and effectiveness. Both western and Chinese herbs are used in the form of teas, capsules, tablets, tinctures and topical preparations.
COUNSELING
Whether its for lifestyle support (ie. diet, exercise, sleep), stress management, anxiety, depression, or any other mental/emotional imbalance, I bring empathy and care to each patient interaction. I work by uncovering blocks to one's inner resources and guiding patients on their journey to self-discovery and healing.
ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture is an ancient chinese practice that works by stimulating specific points on the body to help speed up the innate healing process and re-establish balance in the body. The general theory of acupuncture is based on the premise that there are patterns of energy flow ("qi") through the body that are essential for health. Disruptions of this flow are believed to be responsible for disease. Acupuncture is used to ensure a proper flow of energy ("qi") throughout the body's meridians, allowing the body to heal its own stresses and injuries. Acupuncture is beneficial for a long list of conditions and is a great treatment option to improve digestion, circulation, fertility, anxiety and depression, pain and sleep disorders.
INJECTION THERAPIES
Injection therapies allow the administration of vitamins and minerals directly into the muscle ("intramuscular" or IM) or the circulatory system ("intravenous" or IV) to provide optimal nutrition directly to your bodies tissues by allowing the nutrients to bypass the gastrointestinal digestive tract. Used widely to treat deficiencies, aid in detoxification, improve energy and for general immune support to improve your body’s ability to recover as well as ward off infection. Many chronic conditions respond well to IV therapy.
CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle therapy using the lightest of touch to release tensions deep in the body, allowing the entire body to relax and self-correct. By working with the central nervous system, craniosacral therapy naturally eliminates pain and stress, while enhancing health and well-being. It's a great treatment for deep relaxation and for a full spectrum of pain, illness and dysfunction including: migraines and headaches, chronic neck and back pain, stress and tension-related disorders, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, TMJ syndrome, insomnia and many other conditions.

- IV Push Therapies such as Meyer’s vitamin cocktail and Glutathione injections.
- IV Drip Therapies such as high dose Vitamin C, Alpha lipoic acid or high dose multi-nutrient therapy.
- IM B12 Shot: Vitamin B12 is an important vitamin required for the formation and maturation of red blood cells and proper functioning of the nervous system, bone marrow and gastrointestinal tract. Weekly or Monthly intramuscular injections of B12 are the most efficient way of building up low levels of B12 in the body. Often after the first injection there is a notable improvement in either energy, cognitive function or sleep.
